Lin Zi

The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Wei Yu. It tells the story of Ye Liuxi (played by Ni Ni), known as the "Desert Rose", and Chang Dong (played by Bai Yu), known as the "Brave and Intelligent Sand Beast". One aims to solve the mystery of her origin, while the other seeks to uncover the truth of her past. The two join forces to explore the fantasy world.

In the 1930s, Shanghai Peng Haotian, an officer of the Nationalist Army, was seriously injured while fighting against the Japanese and met Lei Jinyi, a nurse. When it came to marriage, it was opposed by the Peng family. Under strict order, Peng went to the battlefield again. The Peng family was reduced to the ground by the Japanese invaders. Both of them believed that the other had unfortunately lost their lives. Peng, burdened with national and family grievances, was dedicated to assassinating Japanese invaders and traitors.
