This film takes place in the 1950s in Andalusia under the rule of Franco. Enrique and Carmen fell in love at first sight. Carmen, through her uncle's connections, managed to secure an officer position for Enrique in the local government. However, Enrique could not remain indifferent to the injustice he faced every day.
