The drama is divided into four units: "The Nine Yin Manual", "The East Is Evil and the West Is Poison", "The South Emperor and the North Beggar", and "The Five Heroes' Struggle". The "Nine Yin Sutra" unit tells the story of Mei Ruohua, the daughter of a maritime merchant. When she was young, her family was wiped out by villains, and since then, she has been burdened with a deep blood feud.
