The film is set in the ancient town of Hengjiang in Yibin, which is located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. It tells the story of the emotional entanglements of three young men and women by the owner of a bar in Hengjiang Ancient Town. Tianxiang, a sunny, handsome and charming photojournalist, comes to Hengjiang Ancient Town for an interview and happens to meet Bai LAN, a beautiful and elegant woman in the town, and her mixed-race daughter.
