When Jenny (played by Faye Wong) realized that she had no love for the gang leader ITO beside her, she came to Okinawa with a large sum of money from ITO. This sum of money was originally the cost for the international thief Tang Jie (played by Leslie Cheung) to help ITO retrieve a diary filled with ITO's romantic history from the police evidence room. Jenny's escape with it left him at a loss
