Billy White was passionate about baseball since childhood and performed outstandingly on the field. Encouraged by his neighbor's elder sister Katie, he vowed to make baseball his lifelong career. Katie's care enabled her to build a friendship with Billy that was as close as that of a brother and a confidant. Billy was disheartened by a loss in a game and thus gave up baseball to seek a career in a big city
