Feng Zhe

In 1936, during the Long March, the Red Army passed through the Tibetan areas along the Jinsha River. The Kuomintang colluded with the powerful tycoon Qiu Wanli, attempting to prevent the Red Army from crossing the river and moving northward. Qiu Wanli ordered his henchmen to disguise themselves as Red Army soldiers and kidnap the only daughter of the chieftain Sangge, Zhu Ma, sowing discord between the chieftain and the Red Army. The Red Army, however, adhered to the Party's ethnic policies, rescued Zhuma and crossed Jinsha
