The story took place in Egypt 5,000 years ago. Pharaoh Khufu (played by Jack Hawkins) fought battles everywhere and achieved continuous victories, bringing back a large amount of gold, silver treasures and prisoners of war. The pharaoh, dreaming of immortality, ordered one of the prisoners of war named Vashtar (James Robertson Juste)
