Yuko, who dreams of entering an art school, takes a short-term painting course in another place during the summer vacation. Thus, she stays at the home of Aoba Haruko, an old friend of her mother Chiyoshi, and gets to know Haruko's son, Riku, her friend, Akiko, and her boyfriend, Kuo. Although the family members are not very ordinary, the delicious food on the Aoba family's dining table makes them as close as one family
