In 1940, Churchill established a new intelligence organization, the Special Operations Bureau, abbreviated as SOE. One of the divisions is responsible for supervising the operations in France. In 1944, to ensure the success of the Allied landing, this division paid a heavy price. Louise (played by Sophie Marceau) has just lost her husband and is brought back to France by her brother to participate in the SOE. The mission she accepts is to rescue a British geologist who has fallen into the hands of the enemy - in his possession is the map of the German fortifies set up in Normandy, which is almost the entire key to the Allied landing. Fighting alongside Louise were several other girls. Jeanne (played by Julie Depardieu), a prostitute, was sentenced to death for killing her client. SOE promised that she would be exempted if she fulfilled her mission. Subsequently, Suzy and Ga joined. All of them have a sad past that is unknown to others. When they contribute their intelligence and wisdom for the Allied forces, can the mission succeed and can they escape unscathed?[Collapse]
