The young and handsome American soldier Barry (played by Troy Garity) meets a beautiful dancer at a strip club. His companions encourage Barry to strike up a conversation to see if it's a man or a woman. Barry chatted with the other party very gentlemanly and didn't reveal his comrade's lewd bet at the same time, thus winning the favor of this transgender dancer named Adams (played by Lee Pace).
