From January 15th to 17th, 1935, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held a meeting in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, to correct the mistakes made by Wang Ming's "left-leaning" leadership in military command. This film consists of five parts: the Great Retreat from the Soviet area, the bloody Battle on the Xiangjiang River, the Dawn of Zunyi, the leap over Dadukou, and the Meeting in northern Shaanxi. Among them, in the scene of leaping over Dadukou, when 17 brave warriors were crossing the river, two of them fell into the river.[Collapse]
