According to the design of Master Zhao Zhangmo, who built the bridge, the bridge body cannot be closed. Lu Ban chiseled a large stone and gave it to Cui 'er, a poor girl who was about to get married but couldn't afford a wedding dress. At the pass where the stone bridge closed, Cui 'er offered a stone.
