Mia (played by Katie Jarvis), a 15-year-old girl with a rebellious and eccentric personality, caused trouble. Not only was she expelled from school, but even her best friend left her. Mia loves dancing, yet it seems that not many people around her pay attention to her passionate dance steps until a man named Connor (Michael Fassbender) ? ? ? The man played by Fassbender appears. Connor was his mother's boyfriend. During the days when he lived with his mother, Mia was attracted by this handsome and friendly man. With Connor's support and encouragement, Mia got a chance for a dance interview and her relationship with Connor also deepened. However, the real world is not as wonderful as imagined... This film is directed by British up-and-coming female director Andrea Arnold, who won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006 for "Red Road". It is her second feature film.
