The invited guests were diverse: Countess, World War I heroes, British music ICONS, and an American film producer who was filming the movie "Charlie Chan". When the guests gathered in the resplendent studio upstairs, their personal male and female servants lined up in the huge residence, while the servants crowded the kitchen and the corridor downstairs.
