Victor (played by John Leguizamo) lives in the bustling metropolis of New York, where he runs his own drug business. Victor became rich by selling a kind of drug called "Empire" and led a luxurious life. Meanwhile, he also met a beautiful woman named Carmen (played by Denise Richards), and the two got together. Carmen was pregnant, which made Victor start to realize that he could no longer make money by committing crimes.
