The story takes place in a small town by the Baltic Sea. It is the height of summer, and everything in the town is wrapped in a steaming heat wave, almost evaporating. Here, eighteen-year-old high school boy Christian (played by Jonas Nay) meets the new English teacher Stella (played by Julia Koschitz).
