Growing up overnight is probably every child's dream. When they grow up, they can be free and easy. Twelve-year-old Guangzi is even more eager to grow up than other children because his mother has just committed suicide in an accident and his father has found a new mother. Guangzi was astonished to find that since his mother's death, he had no longer grown taller. It was all his father's and his new mother's fault. Guangzi had always believed this in his heart. One day, Guangzi met a mysterious person in the park. A mysterious person claimed to have a magical potion that could make Guangzi grow up overnight. Guangzi really turned into a young man in his twenties overnight. Guangzi (played by Andy Lau) finally had his dream come true and was finally able to get rid of his father and new mother.
