The drama tells the story of the descendants of the first generation of Chinese Communists who lived in the Ivanovo International Children's Home in the Soviet Union in the 1940s, as they studied, fought and lived during the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union. It is based on a true history of friendly exchanges between the Chinese and Soviet parties. It vividly portrays characters such as Chu Chu, Luo Xiaoman and Xie Liao Sha, the orphans of the Communist Party of China martyrs. In order to ensure the continuation of the Chinese revolutionary cause, under the care of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, they came to the Soviet Union to study. After the war broke out, some of them actively participated in the great Patriotic War of the Soviet people, while others were imprisoned in German concentration camps and tenaciously survived. Their young hearts suffered greatly from the trauma of war, but at the same time, they were tempered even stronger in the flames of war. This drama was shot on location in Russia, with a vivid and touching plot. It clearly expressed the common aspiration of people around the world for peace and opposition to war, and eulogized the traditional friendship between the Chinese people and the people of the former Soviet Union.
