Chen Yunxuan (played by Li Weixin) and his daughter Chen Xiujuan (played by Liu Dong) came to Taiwan. Every day, they couldn't help missing their relatives living on the Chinese mainland. One day, Chen Xiujuan set sail with a biological research vessel and unexpectedly encountered pirates. Chen Xiujuan, who would rather die than yield, chose to jump into the sea to save herself.
