In November 1937, Shanghai fell into the hands of the Japanese army. Our underground Party organization, led by Wei Dahong and Lin Qiuyue, moved underground to work. In 1941, the Japanese army launched a top-secret "Scorpion Beauty Plan" in Shanghai, aiming to disrupt China's financial market with "counterfeit money" and take the opportunity to plunder China's precious cultural relics and ancient books on a large scale. The Party's action team led by Wei Dahong and Lin Qiuyue carried out a secret operation and crushed the enemy's secret plan in one fell swoop, retrieving the cultural relics and ancient books that had been plundered. Lin Qiuyue's younger sister, Lin Qiuyun, who was originally a student of the Military Intelligence Bureau, was inspired by her elder sister Lin Qiuyue and, along with the Military Intelligence Bureau instructor Zhou Tianhao, left the organization and joined the action group led by Wei Dahong and Lin Qiuyue. During a battle, Lin Qiuyue unfortunately sacrificed her life. After completing her mission, Lin Qiuyun, carrying her sister Lin Qiuyue's last wish, went north with her instructor Zhou Tianhao to join the New Fourth Army. Several years later, Lin Qiuyun and Zhou Tianhao, who had been tempered by the battlefield's artillery fire, grew into outstanding commanders of our New Fourth Army.[Collapse]
