"Sports Fat Hero" is an Olympic youth inspirational light comedy jointly initiated by the General Administration of Sport of China and Peking University. It is produced and directed by Ji Ning, the director of the Beijing Olympic Games Expert Committee, with Luo Weiwei, a researcher at the China Sports Industry Research Center of Peking University, as the producer and directed by the renowned Hong Kong director Hu Chuxi. This TV drama is set against the legendary backdrop of "The Sports Alliance between the Song and Liao Dynasties" and "The Substitution of the Prince by a Fox", telling the story of a group of young people in the Song Dynasty who, through their own efforts and fair competition, became great heroes from ordinary people.
