In 1126 AD, the first year of the Jingkang era of the Northern Song Dynasty. The Jurchens from the northern deserts invaded the Central Plains with 40,000 iron cavalry. Due to the incompetence of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty and the military evacuation, the Jin troops advanced as if they were in an uncharted territory.
